Company History
Founder Bill Bruce started in the boiler business in 1959 with Syncro-Flame Burners. In his earlier years, he spent a great deal of time in the design end of production. In 1964, he went to work for Industrial Combustion in Monroe as the line foreman. With many years spent in research and development, Bill took the challenge of being one of the first Industrial Combustion Burners Representatives.
After moving up through the ranks, Bill decided to take his vast knowledge and established Bruce Boiler Burner & Equipment in 1996 with his son Jim. Having worked with many manufactures through the years, Bill continued to build his business around selling quality products. Over the next 13 years, Bill and Jim would add several leading HVAC equipment manufacturers to their product offerings.
After 50 years in the boiler and burner business, Bill retired in 2008. A year later, Gary Mella joined the Bruce Boiler Burner & Equipment family as a sales engineer, bringing over 20 years of design experience in the mechanical field.
